Handwriting Cards

I got this idea from a casual teaching day. The students were about to begin handwriting, but were all up to revising different letters. I told them to write their letter and a few words starting with the letter as well as a sentence. This began the development of my handwriting cards!

Pretty easy to make, I downloaded the NSWPrintSolidGL font (from edalive.com.au)  and typed away. Then simply downloaded cute pictures from Google. Printed them in colour and then laminated.  Below is an example of the cards.

Very effective! The children choose their letter move back to their tables and copy it into their books. Handwriting sorted!
