Noise-o-Meter

I created this noise-o-meter for a stage 3 classroom for my prac placement. I found it to be very useful and have since then used it in stage 1 and 2 as well. The children like it because it is something they can relate to. It is also a good visual cue to help children with learning disorders; as they can determine which level of noise is allowed.
If the noise becomes to loud and the chatter is off-topic, this can be turned around to reveal Bowser. Bowser serves as a reminder that noise levels need to be adjusted or there will be a consequence.

  1. This is a fab idea - I'll be borrowing it for my classroom. Thanks.
